So, unchecking the box seems to work a lot, until recording which increases to around 20%. When I checked it again, it increased again. The GPU usage seemed to decrease a lot to around 5%. ![]() So, I pressed Win + G, unchecked "Remember, this is a game", then checked Task Manager. When I checked the original post, at the very end of the comment, it finally came to the point that it was Xbox Game Bar that is taking up the GPU when identifying the app as a game. When there were signs where I could finally interact with the settings, I checked Task Manager, and it seemed to still be high. I attempted to terminate the app and settings took too long to respond. I searched the internet again and then realised that it is caused by the Game Bar which records apps. Yesterday, however, I noticed the high GPU usage again. ![]() I searched the internet and, with my brain not knowing what it means, I gave up and stopped thinking about it. I thought that it was weird since I had never seen it before. When I turned on my Task Manager, it told me that the GPU usage was around 50%. I did find out about the problem when I was on my default browser: Chrome. Someone posted " Broadcast DVR GPU usage when idle" before I have attempted to post anything. ![]()
